ELMO

Elmo was just a practice cake, but soon I'll be making a huge cake for my step daughter it's going to be a luau theme and she has asked me to make a surf board. So I have decided to go all out, I'm attempting gum paste hawaii like flowers (which can look very real if I pull it off) Its going to be three layers covered with fondant, which I'm going to imprint it, and put seashells all over it. Then embellish it with many gum paste flowers, and place a surfboard in the front sitting vertical. I only pray I can actually make it look professional looking.

What can I say about Andrew's mood other then he has lot's, and in one situation like trying to get my camara he showed them all. Happy, silly, upset, and MAD.

Andrews 6th Birthday

Saturday was Andrews 6th bday party we had a pool party and it was so fun, Andrew was a little frusturated with the gifts because I said no toys, and he got all clothes. So by the time he got to my sisters helmet and knee pads he was over it, but then Bobby said wait a minute what will you do with the helmet you don't have a bike. Then I said well look in that closet maybes there is something in there, he opened it speechless and then asked what is it he very excitidly says a "BIKE". He loved his bike, is having a little trouble but I'm sure he'll get the hang of it. I wish he could stay six both of my babies are growing so fast. Then we had Cake which by the way I made, hopefully I'll start my own business one day :), he loved it of course becasue it was a guitar, my inspiration was from Ace of Cakes (my Fav show), Thanks Geof!!

Caught in the act

So the other day I caught Noah getting into the Baby bag and my purse and boy did they make a mess, Andrew said Noah did it all. Well two days later I'm going through pics on my camara, and I found pics of the whole process and Andrew said he was innocent.
