Andrew

This is my son Andrew, he is so amazing he has accomplished so much in his five years. Andrew was born with Cerebral Palsy on the left side of his body, he can walk and run and jump and do almost all the normal things a five year old should. He does have siezures and a lot of eye problems. The amazing part is that Andrew wasn't suppossed to walk or talk. I was told hed scoot on his bottom or be in a wheel chair, they also said with the damage done to the brain most likely be mentally retarted. Andrew is not retarted he is reading, and wrighting and nows all his alphabet and the sounds. It so great to him do all these things. I give all the thanks to God though I have so many times gone to healing evangelists for healing for Andrew and everytime change has come to Andrew. God heals all people young or old, and Andrew is a walking example of the good God can bring. I know one day that Andrew will be completly healed, I just feel he hasn't yet because there is a plan for his life concerning others and their struggles with disabilities. Andrew never complains about his disability he never says I cant he smiles and always pushes himself and I know one day he will change lives. Im so proud of him and Ive seen huge changes in him since school as well, he is more social and outgoing. His mind is working in ways I never knew it could. Its all so amazing to me and I thank God every day for the miracles he has given us.

Germs, Germs, and More Germs!!!!!!!!!

Ok so the kids have been sick since Thanksgiving I'm going insane. It started with Thanksgiving I was suppossed to have thirty people over, and the day before while giving Noah a bath I notice clear blisters all over his fingers. I called my sister in law, because her son has had everthing you could ever think of. So right away after explaining it she say "ITS MOUTH, HAND, and FOOT VIRUS". Its not as bad as it sounds, but highly contagious, so I rush him to the ER, and of course it is the virus. Im going insane thirty people are coming to my house tomorrow I'm thinking, what am I going to do? Well thank God my mother in law was willing to have it at her house. So I dragged all my stuff to her house and my husband decided he wanted to stay home anyway so he did for a few hours. Then calling me saying I want to go now, so he did with Noah and everyones freaking out "DONT TOUCH ME" it was crazy.
Then on December 3rd my birthday my husband takes me to Macaroni Grill, on the drive there im feeling yucky, so we sit down and then I'm off and running to the bathroom, we pack up and go home. Well as soon as I get through the door rushing to the bathroom Andrews sick in the other bathroom. It was so hard taking care of him and myself too!
So after all thats over Im thinking OK its all over but was I ever wrong were at my husbands familys house (Christmas Eve) forty five minutes away and Noah gets sick. The best part about it is we cant drive home because the clouds were so low in the mountians we couldnt see anything to come home, so we waited it out. Finally we come home Noahs sick still even for Christmas Day (poor thing) it was really upsetting he didnt even care about his gifts. So not two days later is Andrew sick with the stomach flu as well and both with potty issues to. While sick with this they both get sinus infections, ear infections, pink eye, and Noah got a yeast rash infection from the potty issues. I dont know what I will do if these kids dont get better. All the while Bobby and I both caught colds with stuffy noises and coughs and sore throats.
Im so careful about germs to, not over obssesive because its not good to be, but im always using the cover for the baskets and high chairs. I use disinfectant wipes when Andrew uses the push cars at stores. I almost want to lock them up at home and not let them out.One more illness and I'm going to SCREAM!!!!!!!
